Andy Grosso



Andy is a key contributor to Riviera Partners' sales practice and has performed retained searches for CEO and CFO. He was a key member in one venture-funded software startup, Kana Communications (KANA), and another public company, Parametric Technology Corporation (PMTC).

Prior to Riviera Partners, Andy had ten years of successful performance in high technology software sales and sales management. Among his accomplishments are over thirty two quarters of consistently beating his sales numbers. While at Parametric Technology Corporation he was ranked 11th out of over 800 sales representatives as revenues grew from $200M to over $800M and Parametric was the fifth largest software company in the world.

After Parametric Technology, he was recruited as the 20th employee and 2nd sales person hired at Kana Communications (KANA). At Kana, he was ranked as the top sales performer among all sales people for three straight years, leaving as the number one Regional Director, responsible for the company’s largest territory generating greater than $24M in annual revenue.

During his tenure Kana’s revenues grew from zero to over $150M while becoming one of the top ten most successful IPO’s of 1999. He has also sold at other firms including, Endeca Technology, Proofpoint, and Vericept.

Andy enjoys spending time with his wife, Kimberley Yates Grosso and their three daughters Tessa, Reese, and Alyssa. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf with friends, and traveling. He is a graduate of Lake Forest College, with double majors in French and International Relations. Andy currently resides with his family in Menlo Park, CA.
