Biography
Andrew “Pete” Peterson is a seasoned technology leader at Riviera Partners, recognized for architecting SutroX to be reliable, scalable, and serviceable. Previously, Pete held key roles at IBM’s Santa Teresa Lab and Almaden Research Center, where he led the implementation of DB2’s record-level locking and Index Manager subsystem. His work at Platinum Technology earned industry accolades, and he advanced early analytics at Siebel, shaping today’s Oracle Business Intelligence.
At the City of Oakland, he led a major Oracle system upgraded, public WiFi expansion during the COVID pandemic, and achieved two CIO 100 awards for OAK APPS and VISION a public safety performance management and analytics application.
