Last Updated: May 16, 2024

Riviera Partners LLC (“Riviera”) is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of the personal information it collects. Please read this privacy policy carefully to understand what information Riviera collects and how it uses and when it discloses to others that information. This privacy policy applies to information collected (i) from you via this website (rivierapartners.com) and other Riviera-affiliated websites and online services that link to this policy (such as sutrox.riviapps.com); (ii) from you when you interact with Riviera on phone or video calls, at events, as part of Riviera-sponsored programs, or in other contexts; and (iii) from “third party” sources in the course of recruitment on behalf of Riviera clients, as described below.

What Personal Information Do We Collect?

Riviera and third parties working on our behalf collect personal information that you provide directly to us. The specific information you provide is typically a function of the context in which you provide it; for example, we collect information from you when you register for an event, or when you submit certain professional background and other contact information related to potential candidacies for job opportunities led by Riviera on behalf of our clients. With your consent, we may record or otherwise collect information about your candidacy on phone or video calls with Riviera personnel or the speakers and attendees at Riviera-sponsored webinars or events. In addition, we may collect information about you from third-party sources, including but not limited to publicly available information (e.g., social media platforms like LinkedIn or company websites), resumes/references you provide to us, and other sources of information about the companies and markets in which we recruit.

The personal information we collect may include, but is not limited to:

  • Contact information and other identifiers (for example, name, address, phone number, e-mail address, social media identifier, name of your employer, your position or title, other professional information about you and your career, information about your prior communications with employees of Riviera, and other data you may provide us so that we can contact you).
  • Internet activity information (for example, “cookies,” web server logs, web beacons, and other electronic tools to collect statistical information about your use of this website and other websites). For more information about how we collect and process such information, please see our “Cookie Policy” below.
  • Context-specific information (for example, application and results in the context of certain Riviera-Led Recruitments).
  • Other personal information you may provide, which may be publicly available, or that we may acquire through third-party sources.

In addition, if you live in the United States, we may collect demographic or ethnicity information to monitor compliance with applicable non-discrimination laws. You do not have to submit this information. Moreover, if you have submitted this information and given us consent to use the information, you may withdraw your consent at any time. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact us at contact@rivierapartners.com.

Users of Riviera-Led Recruitment. You may have reached this policy because you are participating in a recruitment led by Rivera in support of our clients (the “Recruitment”). Riviera may collect personal information as described above in the context of administering these Recruitments. We do not control how these companies may use this information; if you have applied for a job with one of these companies, either directly or through a Riviera-provided platform, you should consult that company’s privacy policies.

How Do We Use and Share Your Personal Information and Other Information?

Riviera and third parties working on our behalf use the information we have about you for internal business purposes, such as matching candidates and clients for job opportunities, overseeing our business and client relationships, communicating with you, responding to your requests, enhancing our services, compiling aggregate statistics, and improving this website. In addition, we may record webinars or phone or video calls to create transcripts that we use to help train our employees, agents, associates, or partners, on the best ways to conduct or engage in such communications, or we may use information you provided over this website to send you more information about Riviera and the services we can provide. To assist us with these activities, information covered by this privacy policy, including information about your use of this website, may be combined with or enhanced by other information that we have from other online or offline sources. With respect to information collected from third parties, Riviera primarily uses and/or discloses this information to learn more about you and your company as part of its consideration of potential employment or partnership.

In addition, if you participate in a Riviera event like a Riviera Partners talent networking event, we may use your information to, among other things, promote future events, as well as monitor their use and improve the performance of the events. We also may disclose – if you direct us to do so – information about you to companies with whom we have a relationship that are or may be seeking applicants for available or potential positions, or we may provide you with a link to those companies’ websites to apply for jobs that may be of interest to you. Riviera sponsors these events to help qualified candidates identify interesting employment opportunities in the Riviera portfolio or help companies network and identify various recruitment trends and/or market data. Riviera does not control, and disclaims any liability with respect to, how these companies use data provided to them in connection with the events. You should consult with the relevant privacy policies to ensure you are comfortable with the way these companies will handle your personal information when you apply for a position.

Finally, we may disclose your information with third parties as permitted or required by law, including:

  • With service providers that assist us in operating our business;
  • To comply with the law or in response to a subpoena, court order, government request, or other legal process;
  • To produce relevant documents or information in connection with litigation, arbitration, mediation, adjudication, government or internal investigations, or other legal or administrative proceedings;

  • To enforce any terms of service or other legal disclosures on or related to this website;
  • In connection with a sale or other transfer of all or some of the assets of Riviera and/or in connection with a sale or merger of Riviera or any division of Riviera;
  • To provide you with the services or products requested by you, and to perform other activities related to such services and products;
  • To operate Riviera’s systems properly; or
  • Any other sharing, with your consent.

Note that, except in cases where the party with which Riviera has disclosed information is operating on behalf of Riviera, this privacy policy does not apply to, and Riviera is not responsible for, the treatment of the information by those third parties that may receive information in conjunction with your participation in one of our Recruitments.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
